Professional Career
2009
• Started all 20 games for Athletica in 2009, and was one of only seven players in the WPS to play in 20 games.
• Ellertson was seventh in the league in minutes played, logging 1,748 out of 1,800 possible minutes of on field time.
• Voted onto the starting eleven for the WPS All-Star Game.
• Anchored a Saint Louis defense that allowed the second fewest goals in the WPS, (15), the second least GAA average (0.75), and the second most shutouts (10).
• Captained Saint Louis Athletica twice while Lori Chalupny was absent.
• Led Athletica defenders in shots taken with nine.
International Career
2009
• Ellertson participated in the U.S. Women’s National Team camp in January in Carson, California.
2008
• Sat out the first four months of the season due to her pregnancy.
• Gave birth to her second daughter, Mya Joy, on May 4th.
2007
• Ellertson came off the bench in three matches at the 2007 FIFA Women's World Cup in China.
• Participated in the 2007 residency program.
2006
• Had a breakout tournament at the 2006 Four Nations Tournament, starting all three games in the center of the defense and playing every minute of the competition as the USA won the title.
• Started two matches at the 2006 Algarve Cup.

• A converted forward, she earned her first caps with the USA in 2005, playing in three matches at defender and made one start.

Collegiate Career
2004
• As a senior Ellertson was honored as a NSCAA Second-Team All-American after leading the Huskies to the best season in the program's history.
• Washington posted a 17-5-1 record and advanced to the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Championships
• Was named PAC-10 Player of the Year for second consecutive year.
• Completed her career as Washington's all-time leader in goals (43) and points (99).
2003
• As a junior Ellertson played all 21 games and scored 13 goals.
• Was named the Pac-10 Co-Player of the Year.
2002
• As a sophomore Ellertson played all 20 games, starting 17 of them.
• Led the team with three game-winning goals.
• Opened the season with her second career hat trick vs. Arkansas.
2001
• As a freshman, she played in all 20 games, starting 10 of them.
• Led the team with seven goals and ranked second on the squad with 14 total points. Registered first career hat trick.

• Full Name is Christina Jo Frimpong Ellertson.
• Father Joe was born in Ghana and mother Eka was born in Nigeria.
• Twin sister, Crystal, played soccer at the University of Florida.
• Brother Alex played at the University of California at Santa Barbara.
• She and husband, Brad, have a daughter, MacKenzie, who was born on March 8, 2001, and Mya born in May of 2008.
• Majored in Economics, minored in African Studies.
• Loves to cook for her family.
