FENTON, MO (September 30, 2009) – Saint Louis Athletica Head Coach and General Manager Jorge Barcellos announced the following offseason transactions involving players from the 2009 active roster. Saint Louis Athletica have re-signed defenders Tina Ellertson and midfielder Angie Woznuk. Athletica have also exercised the club options on the following players putting them under contract for the 2010 season.

• Kendall Fletcher – 2010 option exercised
• Kia McNeill – 2010 option exercised
• Stephanie Logterman – 2010 option exercised
• Jillian Loyden – 2010 option exercised
• Elise Weber – 2010 option exercised

Saint Louis Athetica have also announced that the club has waived the option on Brazilian international Daniela and Australian international Sarah Walsh. Daniela and Walsh are now free agents. In addition the following players have been declared free agents as of September 30, 2009.

Goalkeeper Hope Solo is already under contract with Saint Louis Athletica for the 2010 season. The Atlanta Beat selected Amanda Cinalli and Sara Larsson in the 2009 WPS Expansion Draft. Atlanta, along with the Philadelphia Independence, joins the WPS next season.

Saint Louis Athletica begins their second season of play in Women’s Professional Soccer in April of 2010.
