Started all 90 games Stanford played during her collegiate career. In her final year with Stanford, Abegg helped the Cardinals to a NCAA College Cup Semi-Final appearance. Abegg was honored as a MAC Hermann Trophy semi-finalist, First Team All Pac-10 selection, Top Drawer Soccer First Team and Soccer America First Team MVP for 2008. In 2007, was named to the all Pac-10 conference First Team. As a Sophomore, earned all Pac-10 and Pac-10 All-Academic honorable mentions. Was one of two Freshman to start all 20 games for the Cardinal in 2005. Was named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman team.
