Played for Australia in the 2000 and 2004 Olympics, becoming the youngest dual-Olympian in Australian soccer history at age 21. Played every minute of World Cup competitions for the Matildas in 2003 and 2007. Made national team debut at age 16 against China. Scored winning goal against Greece at 2004 Olympics, giving Australia its first win at a senior women’s FIFA event. Had 2007 World Cup header goal voted one of the top ten goals of the tournament. Finalist for 2007-08 Asian Player of the Year. Earned Silver Boot honors at 2008 Peace Cup.

Club:

Played for Sydney FC of Australia’s W-League. Spent time with Fortuna Hjorring of Denmark. Spent 2006 with the Adirondack Lynx of WPSL, scoring five goals and adding three assists.

2. If you didn't play professional soccer, what other profession would you want to try and why?

Fashion Designer, I love that anything goes in fashion - it's a way to express yourself and I think it would be extremely satisfying seeing people wear your clothing line.

3. What's your perfect day off?

Sleeping in until 9am, meeting friends at my fave coffee shop Harry & Mario's Cronulla, Australia for breakfast, Cruising down the beach for a few hours, going for a swim and playing some beach cricket, Going out in the afternoon for a nice glass of white wine and cheese and crackers sitting on a rooftop overlooking the beach with the sun shining and great company.

4. What famous person most inspires you and why?

PINK I love her passion for music and that she is independent and likes to promote the fact that you can remain humble whilst being a superstar. Very inspiring.
