WPS Camps is proud to announce that FC Gold Pride captain Leslie Osborne, will make a WPS Player Appearance in Council Bluffs, IA, during the WPS Camp that runs from July 13 - July 17.

Smack dab in the middle of the country and located east of Omaha, NE, Council Bluffs Futbol Club (CBFC) of Iowa is the newest WPS Camps partner for the upcoming summer. Developed during the spring of 2005, CBFC participates in the Nebraska Soccer League.

Their developmental teams play in the Eastern Nebraska Soccer Association League. Known for their community involvement and outreach, their Halloween Havoc Tournament attracts over 80 teams annually.

The WPS Camp will be held July 13-17 at the Council Bluffs Recreational Complex and has been arranged to continue the club’s commitment of providing the best level of training available.

Women's Professional Soccer

The mission of Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS) is to be the premier women’s soccer league in the world and the global standard by which women’s professional sports are measured.  The Inaugural Season kicked off on March 29 and runs through August 22, 2009, with WPS teams based in the Bay Area, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New Jersey/New York, St. Louis, and Washington, D.C.  The league’s eighth franchise, Philadelphia, will begin play next season with Atlanta expected to join as the ninth team in 2010, as well.
