Chicago Professional Women’s Soccer, LLC “CPWS”  “Help Name The Team” sweepstakes official rules.

1. ELIGIBILITY:  Open only to persons 6 years and older upon entering who are legal residents of Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa and Indiana. An eligible minor must have a parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to enter.  Employees of Chicago Professional Women’s Soccer, Women’s Professional Soccer and The Venture Group and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, dealers, franchisees and advertising or promotion agencies (the “Sponsors”), or members of their immediate families or households are ineligible to participate in the sweepstakes.   Void where prohibited by law.  All federal, state and local laws apply.
2. TERM: The Promotion begins at 8:00 a.m. Central Time, Saturday, March 1, 2008 and ends at 5:00 p.m. Central Time, Friday, May 16, 2008. All entries must be received by 5:00 p.m. Central Time, Friday, May 16, 2008.
3. HOW TO ENTER:  No purchase necessary.  Go to www.chicagoprowomenssoccer.com and select your three favorite name options in order or mail this ballot to Chicago Professional Women’s Soccer, P.O. Box 64949 Chicago, IL 60664. Any purchase made from Chicago Professional Women’s Soccer, LLC, shall not improve the chances of winning this sweepstakes.
4. PRIZE:  CPWS will choose the official name for the Chicago Professional Women’s Soccer team, in its absolute discretion.  The name will be chosen on or about June 1, 2008. One entrant will be chosen at random on or about June 1, 2008 regardless of name choice to receive the grand prize and ten runners up will also be selected.  Winner(s) will be selected from all eligible entries received.  Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Grand Prize includes:  $1,000 cash prize, four (4) season tickets per home game to the CPWS Inaugural Season in 2009, four seats in a luxury box at Toyota Park for opening day ’09 of the CPWS season in Chicago, merchandise, and food and beverage certificates for opening day valued at $2,500.  The ten runners up will each receive a pair of tickets to the inaugural CPWS home game at Toyota Park valued at $50.
5. PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES: Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied, by Sponsors. Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or substitutable except by Sponsors who reserve the right to substitute prize of comparable or greater value at their sole discretion. Winners shall be solely responsible for all taxes (including federal, state and local taxes) and any other costs and expenses associated with the acceptance and use of a prize not specified in these rules as being awarded, including, but not limited to All prize details (including without limitation, method and location of delivery of the prize), are at Sponsors’ sole discretion.
6. WINNER(S):  Will be notified in writing by mail on or about June 15, 2008.   The return of a notification or prize as undeliverable, or any non-compliance with rules and/or conditions, will result in disqualification and the selection of an alternate winner.  All taxes, shipping, licenses, delivery, fees and charges associated with prizes are solely the winner’s responsibility.  For a list of winners (before July 15,2008) and/or sweepstakes rules, send a self addressed, stamped #10 envelope to:  CPWS 415 N. 7. RESERVATIONS:  By entering this sweepstakes, each entrant agrees:  (1)  to be bound by these rules and the judges’ and Sponsors’ decisions; (2) that none of the Entities, nor any of their officers, directors, employees, agents or representatives are responsible for claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from sweepstakes participation or the acceptance, use misuse, possession, loss of misdirection of any prize; and (3) that the acceptance of a prize constitutes the grant of an unconditional right to use winner’s name, address, voice, likeness, photograph, prize information and/or statements about the promotion for publicity, advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
8. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: As a condition of participating, entrant (and parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agrees that: (i) under no circumstances will entrant (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant (and parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out of pocket expenses, if any (ii) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion, or any price awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (iii) any and all claims, judgments, and award shall be limited to actual out of pocket costs incurred, if any, and in no event shall entrant be entitled to receive attorneys’ fees or other legal costs. This Promotion shall be governed by Illinois substantive and procedural law, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflicts of laws rules or provisions (whether of the State of Illinois or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Illinois. By participating in this Promotion, entrants (or parent/legal guardian if entrant is a minor) irrevocably consent that Illinois courts shall have personal jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Promotion and that venue shall only be in the federal or state courts of Illinois.
