1. What are the three things you can never be without while traveling?

Toothbrush, contacts, and a book.

2. If you didn’t play professional soccer, what other profession would you want to try – and why?

Book publishing because I would love to be involved in the whole process of taking someone's creative idea and making it into something for others to enjoy.

3. What’s your perfect day off?

Sleeping, reading outside on a sunny day, playing games with family and/or friends, and watching movies.

4. If you had a dinner party, who are the four people you would invite (can be living or dead)?

I would invite all four of my grandparents. I never got to meet one of my grandpas so I would love the chance to talk with him; one of my grandmas died when I was younger and she was always so much fun to be with; and my grandma and grandpa on my mom’s side are just two of the best people to be around, so together I think the four of them would make a great dinner party!

5. If there were one adjective to describe you, what would it be?

Cheerful.

6. What’s on your workout / pre-game iPod playlist?

I like a mix of songs, like Standing Outside the Fire by Garth Brooks, It’s My Life by Bon Jovi, and Go the Distance by Michael Bolton.
