Brain Health Week

When: June 20-25

Where: Washingtonian Center and RIO - Gaithersburg, MD

Join Washington Freedom and the Alzheimer's Association of the National Capital Area in learning how to live a brain healthy lifestyle. This week will have exciting activities from a 2K/5K run, lakeside walk, paddleboat regatta and Zumba classes to a day of Scrabble and Bridge tournaments! On Thursday and Friday (June 24 and 25) Washington Freedom will be present for the Brain Health Walk. This walk is geared to families and employees of area companies. This mid-day (12 noon) walk will take place on the scenic path around the Washingtonian lake with incentive prizes for top fundraisers. There are opportunities for sponsors to have an exhibitor table and promote their business at this event. World Cup Viewing Party

Where: Greene Turtle - Germantown

When: June 24, 2010 - 2:30pm

Homare Sawa will be cheering on her homeland Japan as they take on Denmark in a World Cup battle. Join Washington Freedom at Greene Turtle to cheer on the team of your choice!

DC SCORES - Kick, Click, SCORE!

Where: Corner of 18th and M St NW

When: June 24, 7am-7pm

Help DC SCORES raise money for their programs! Amy Nakamato, Executive Director of DC SCORES will be juggling from 7am-7pm to raise funds for DC SCORES. Freedom players Christie Welsh will be in attendance from 9am-10am and Sarah Huffman will be in attendance from 6:30pm-7:30pm juggle alongside Amy. Come on out and help a great cause! DC SCORES - Draw Party

Where: Public Bar - 18th St NW and Connecticut NW

When: June 24, 7pm-8pm

Help DC SCORES raise money for their programs! For the 2010 DC Scores Cup, all teams are invited to attend the DC SCORES Draw Party at Public Bar.  The 2010 DC Scores Cup is on July 10 at the Maryland SoccerPlex.  Freedom player Sarah Huffman will be in attendance from 7pm-8pm. MAC SoccerFest 2010

Where: Muldoon's Farm - Poolesville

Enjoy this premier 4-on-4 tournament open to all ages and skill levels. Washington Freedom player Brittany Bock will be in attendance on Sunday, June 27 from 2pm-3pm.
