Do YOU have what it takes to play for the Washington Freedom? 2010 Open Tryouts have been announced and registration is now open. See below for details:

What do I get?
- Chance to be invited to Freedom invitational tryouts and preseason camp.
- Freedom staff evaluation.
- Freedom T-Shirt.
- Voucher for a 2010 WPS Freedom Home Game.
FAQ’s:
- Do I need to bring soccer equipment? Yes. Please bring cleats, shin guards and a ball. Due to inclement weather we may move indoors so please bring indoor soccer shoes as well.
- Do I need to attend both tryout days? No. You can attend one or all four of the tryout times for the session you register for.
- Am I responsible for travel, ground transportation and hotel costs? Yes. We will provide you with host hotel information which is located less than 15 minutes from the SoccerPlex.
- Do I need to contact the Freedom coaches if I’m attending the tryouts? No but you can forward a player resume detailing your soccer experience and any other tryout questions to Nicci Wright at nicci.wright@washingtonfreedom.com .
- What requirements must a player meet in order to play in the WPS? In order to play in the WPS, a player must be 18 years old by March 1, 2010, have either completed or forfeited her NCAA eligibility and have completed and submitted the Interested Player Form: http://www.womensprosoccer.com/Home/players/interested-player.aspx
