  • Member of the U.S. Women’s National Team since 2006. Scored game-winning goal in 2009 Algarve Cup semifinal win over Norway and had the assist on the lone U.S. goal in the final. Appeared in four matches with the senior team in 2006 and scored two goals. Played with the U-19 national team in 2003-04. Tied for the U.S. lead with three goals at the 2004 FIFA U-19 World Championships in Thailand.

  • Named West Coast Conference Player of the Year as a senior in 2008. Started all 22 games her senior year, scoring five goals and adding 13 assists. Had 10 goals and two assists in 11 matches before an ACL tear ended her 2006 season. Appeared in just two matches off the bench in 2007 before re-tearing left ACL. Recorded a hat trick in 2006 against Baylor. Named Soccer Times National Freshman of the Year, WCC Freshman of the Year and NSCAA First Team All-America in 2005. Started all 25 games of her freshman season as an attacking midfielder. Scored 15 goals (seven game-winning) and 13 assists.

2. If you didn't play professional soccer, what other profession would you want to try and why?
    I would want to be a professional traveler, a vagabon if you will. This world has so many incredible sights to offer and Id like to see as many of them as I can.
3. What's your perfect day off?
    Relaxing, good food, good company, good sleep, doing whatever it is that I feel like.
4. What famous person most inspires you and why?
    At the moment I think Ellen Degeneres really inspires me. She is so comfortable in her own skin and is maybe the most funny person I have ever heard.
5. If you had a dinner party, who are the four people you would invite (can be living or dead)?
    Probably my mom and dad, my twin sister and someone to play live music for us during the night.
6. What's on your workout / pre-game iPod playlist?
    Fans by the Kings of Leon, and basically anything else by them.
