1.What are the three things you can never be without while traveling?
  • The Bible
  • My Journal
  • My Cell phone
2. If you didn't play professional soccer, what other profession would you want to try and why?
I earned my degree in Psychology and would love to pursue a career in that realm. Throughout my life I have had so many amazing opportunities and positive people in my life, and really want to give back in any way I can. I think a career in counseling psychology or school counseling would be both interesting and challenging.
3. What's your perfect day off?
I really enjoy chances to get away and relax. Since I am now living in Chicago, a perfect day off will probably entail a nice jog along Lake Michigan and vegging out at Millenium Park while eating a good lunch and catching up on some reading.
4. What famous person most inspires you and why?
When I was a kid, I always looked up to the women's national team. The player who most inspired me and whose legacy continues to motivate me is Michelle Akers. She fought through adversity while on the field and still managed to give everything she could to her team. She not only became one of the best, but more importantly, worked hard for her teammates day in and day out.
5. If you had a dinner party, who are the four people you would invite (can be living or dead)?
Jesus, my Mom, my best friend Michael, and Susan B. Anthony
6. If there were one adjective to describe you, what would it be?
    Tenacious
7. What's on your workout / pre-game iPod playlist?
I don't have a set playlist. I like all types of music, and will listen to pretty much anything besides rap.
