Pat McNamara comes to the Chicago Red Stars as the Director of Marketing and Sponsorships after several years of success in the sports and entertainment world. Most recently Pat was a part of Special Event Management providing event marketing and custom sponsorship opportunities for over one hundred live events in the city and suburbs of Chicago.
An avid soccer player and fan, Pat began his career in sports as an inside ticket sales representative for the Chicago Fire working his way to become the Manager of Ticket Sales prior to leaving shortly after the beginning of the 2008 MLS regular season. Consistently at the top of the sales leader board for the Fire Pat forged many strong relationships with local soccer groups, leagues, civic organizations and Chicago based companies.
Pat graduated from Baker University in Baldwin City, KS and was a four year member of the men’s soccer team, participating in three national tournaments during his tenure. Pat and his wife Elizabeth reside in suburban Lockport, Il.

Favorite place in Chicago: Corner of Clark & Diversey. Right in the heart of the North Side just a short walk to Wrigley Field to the north, the Wiener’s Circle and Lincoln Park to the south, the Lake to the East, and Halsted and Belmont shops and restaurants to the West.
Favorite place in the burbs: TOYOTA PARK on a crisp fall evening with playoff soccer action on the pitch.
