  • Milbrett has accumulated 206 caps with the National Team and has scored 100 goals. In 2001 and 2002, she was the Chevrolet Player of the Year for US Soccer. She is in the top five all-time in the United States national soccer team in three offensive categories: caps, goals and points (261). In 1996, she became a starter for the team that won the 1996 Olympic gold medal in Atlanta and she scored the game winning goal in the gold medal game against China. In 1997, she set a women’s national team record with five assists in a game against Australia, and in 1998 she was a member of the team that won the gold medal at Goodwill Games. In 1999, she was the goal leader on the USA team that won the World Cup, and in 2000 she helped the team capture a silver medal at the Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. She was named the CONCACAF Offensive Player of The Year that same year.

College:
  • Milbrett was her university’s all-time leader in goals with 103, and assists with 40. She placed second in NCAA career goals with 103, and tied for fourth in career points with 246. She was also named to Soccer America’s College Team of The Decade for the 1990s. In 1991, she led her team with 21 goals and six assists. In 1992, her 30 goals and 12 assists placed her second among the nation’s scorers. In 1994, she helped her team reach the soccer Final Four, making the All-Tournament Team. She also earned West Coast Offensive Player of The Year awards in 1992 and 1994, and was a three-time NSCAA All-American as well as a three-time finalist for the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy.

Youth/Club:
  • She played for various youth clubs and she attended Hillsboro High School in Hillsboro, Oregon where she graduated holding Oregon’s state record for goals in a season with 54 and in a career with 131. She was a three-time Oregeonian 4A Player of The Year and a two-time Parade All-American.

My cell phone, computer, and a Sudoku puzzle book.

2) If you didn't play professional soccer, what other profession would you want to try?
I would want to be a veterinarian, because I love animals and would want to help all of them.

3) What's your perfect day off?
Lounging around all day while watching TIVoed programs.

4) What famous person most inspires you?
Anyone who is successful and had to really fight for his or her success. Plus they stay grounded throughout their stardom.
 
5) If you had a dinner party, who are the four people you would invite (can be living or dead)?
Anderson Cooper, Tina Fey, Queen Elizabeth the 2nd, and Prince William.

6) What's on your workout/pre-game iPod playlist?
I listen to a little bit of everything.

7) What was your first job?
I was a babysitter.

I have a cat called Zola and a family dog called Daisy.

I started playing at age 5.

The freedom I feel when I'm out on the field.

Eriko Arakawa, as she is so animated and funny that even in such a bad situation we would have a great time.
