• Member of the U-23 U.S. Women’s National Team.
• Scored goal against England in U-23 La Manga Tournament in Spain.

2008
• Member of the U-23 U.S. Women’s National Team that played two
exhibition matches in Germany.
• Scored against Germany in 1-0 win in Wangen on May 22.

2007
• Member of the 2007 U.S. U-21 squad that won the Nordic Cup.
• In the championship game of the 2007 Nordic Cup Cinalli drew a
penalty that was converted to help cap the U.S. win over Germany.
• Joined U.S. U-21’s on tour of England and scored two goals in
matches against Blackburn Rovers Ladies, Everton Ladies, and Leeds
United Ladies teams.

2006
• Member of 2006 U.S. U-21 squad that placed second in Nordic Cup.
• Drew penalty against Norway that was converted. 

2003
• Served as captain of the U.S. U-17 team in a match against Germany,
registering two assists in that game.

2002
• Competed with U.S. U-16 team in tournament in Paris, scoring one
goal on her first outing with the U.S. Women’s Youth team.

2008
• Cinalli was a volunteer assistant coach for the Irish following her
senior year at Notre Dame.

2007
• Named sole team captain.
• Scored three goals and recorded six assists in her senior year.
• Finished collegiate career with 34 goals & 32 assists for 100 points.
• 12th Notre Dame player ever to reach 30G-30A in her career.
• Named to the Final-15 watch list for the M.A.C. Hermann Trophy.

2006
• Registered 11 goals and four assists in her junior year.
• Earned Soccer America national player of the week honors.
• Received All-BIG EAST honors for third time in career.
• Winner of Mike Russo Award.

2005
• Cinalli posted a career best 10 goals and 17 assists.
• Scored three goals and had two assists in NCAA Tournament.
• Was named to the All-BIG EAST third team.

2004
• Key contributor in Notre Dame’s National Championship season.
• Earned Soccer America.
• Earned Soccer America First Team Freshman All-American First Team honors.

• Scored 10 goals and added seven assists in her first season.

Personal:

• In high school Cinalli worked at an orphanage in Bolivia for three
weeks for her senior service project.
• In the summer of 2008 Cinalli organized volunteers to run an Inner-
City soccer camp for 100 children.
• Through “Lifeworks” ministries Cinalli organized other Notre Dame
athletes to participate in the “Dream Teams” programs in elementary
schools.
• Was Youth Director of Notre Dame soccer camps in 2008.
• Did cardiovascular rotation at Cleveland Clinic Hospital with her
mentor Dr. Michael O’Connor where she observed first hand four open-
heart surgeries.

1. What are the three things you can never be without while traveling?
A: Bible, my blanky, phone

2. If you didn’t play professional soccer, what other profession would you want to try – and why?
A: Emergency Physician. I love medicine and the miraculous ways in which doctors can touch the lives of others. I want to be able to help people when they are in the most need of love and care. Emergency Medicine is also very exciting because each patient with whom you cross paths brings something new and different.

3. What’s your perfect day off?
A: Wake up early and watch the sun rise. Have a big breakfast with pancakes and a smoothie. Relax and hang out with friends and family. Cook out on the grill for dinner and maybe make s’mores by a bonfire. Watch the sun set and end the night with a good movie.

4. What famous person most inspires you and why?
A: Mother Teresa. She was so loving to everyone all the time and so selfless, no matter the circumstance. She trusted God would guide and provide even in the most difficult of times.

5. If you had a dinner party, who are the four people you would invite (can be living or dead)?
A: Hugh Laurie, Patrick Dempsey, Ellen Degenerous, Steve Carell

6. If there were one adjective to describe you, what would it be?
A: Enthusiastic
