In August of 2011 WPS crowned its third WPS Champion and now turns its attention to 2012. The league is looking for interested investors for its upcoming season and beyond.

The five WPS teams playing in 2012 are based in Atlanta, Boston, New Jersey/New York, Philadelphia, and Western New York.
