Come see the Washington Freedom battle Saint Louis Athletica on Sunday, May 3 at 6 p.m. at the Maryland SoccerPlex. Athletica is led by U.S. Women’s national team players and Olympic Gold medalists Lori Chalupny and Hope Solo, as well as Daniela, a member of Brazil’s 2007 FIFA Women’s World Cup championship team.

Activities and festivities for this game include:

• The return of Mia Hamm and Siri Mullinix as the Washington Freedom salutes local heroes and outstanding Freedom alums!

• In a special halftime ceremony presented by the Century Council, Mia Hamm and Siri Mullinix will become the first Freedom alumnae to be inducted into the ‘Hall of Freedom’, in recognition of their outstanding service to the club.

• Come out early as Fan Fest opens at 4:30 p.m.

• First 3,000 fans will receive a FREE Fox Soccer Channel® and Washington Freedom rally towel!

• Tell Mia & Siri! If you saw Mia and Siri play for the Freedom, email us today to share your memories of their skills at info@washingtonfreedom.com. Your comments may be included in the ceremony!

• $1,000 cash giveaway at halftime to a lucky fan!

• The Freedom will also honor several local heroes, including Officer Albert Cruz, Detective Jim Peacock and others.
