BRIDGEVIEW, Ill. – The Chicago Red Stars have partnered with Professional Soccer Academy to promote their soccer camps throughout the Chicagoland area, the team announced today.

Through the partnership, PSA youth campers will receive a free ticket to a Red Stars home game during the 2009 season.  The Red Stars will also hold PSA Camp Day on August 2nd, when the team plays host to current WPS leader the Los Angeles Sol, featuring three-time FIFA Player of the Year Marta.

“We’re very excited here at PSA to team up with the Chicago Red Stars,” said Justin Breckan of Professional Soccer Academy.  “The opportunity for this partnership to promote such a great sport is a privilege we look forward to continuing in the years to come.”

PSA campers will also receive information surrounding the Red Stars’ Carli Lloyd and Lindsay Tarpley two day clinics, which will be held June 20-21 in St. Charles and July 25-26 in Palatine.  Each clinic features a day of instruction from each of the Red Stars’ U.S. Olympic gold medalists – Lloyd focusing on technical training and Tarpley on goal scoring and finishing.

“The Red Stars are excited to team up with Professional Soccer Academy,” said Red Stars Director of Camps Kate Westfall.  “This partnership will give young female soccer players around Chicago the chance to learn the game from two of the top athletes in the world and the opportunity to see those same stars perform on the field.”

The Chicago Red Stars return home to TOYOTA PARK on Sunday, June 21st to face Kristine Lilly and the Boston Breakers at 3 pm.  The Father’s Day match will feature a special classic car show in the parking lot before the game.  Family four packs are available for the match, featuring four tickets, four hot dogs and four soft drinks and starting at just $64.  Four packs purchased in Premier and Midfield seating sections also include a family photo taken on the sidelines following the game.  Tickets are available by calling (866) WPS-2009 or logging on to www.chicagoredstars.com.
